The DM variant cover for vol 2 is Gulacy, taken from issue 55.

I much prefer the variant covers with the original art.

Tracked down the original Annihilation omnibus at a bookstore about 3.5 hours away from my house. Luckily in my line of work there are smaller offices everywhere so I got a guy out that way to pick it up for me and send it inter-office mail! Very excited to get this one and for retail price at that... I'm SO hoping it appears on my desk before the end of the day.

I was also able to get a sealed one at retail recently...I convinced the Chapters in Saskatoon to send their copy to one of the Edmonton locations,

Well that's awesome, very happy with how things turned out, and it did arrive on my desk today so that just makes it a pretty sweet Friday. Gotta say I'm almost as excited getting this book as when I get a new statue... well maybe a mini bust

I have the three oversized HC volumes, but do you know if there's added content in the omnibus?

Actually, from what I read it almost sounded as if there is more content in the three oversized HC volumes (combined of course) and "select" content for the omnibus.
