Those were my exact thoughts when I saw it revealed lol.
Only issue is that it won't scale with my Spiral Studio KG or Burning Godzilla but it is what it is.

It's still around 36" tall can't get around that. Depending on the tail position could be 5' long?

I still don't know how they are shipping that body. In the pics, the tail does not look removable.

I've been hearing more about Omega Beasts lately. Their Shin Godzilla was amazing. Their MechaGodzlla interests me the most.
Do those guys only stick with vinyl though? I ask because I like companies like x-plus, they get the sculpt down but the only thing I can't stand are those ugly stands (ex. to support Godzilla's Tail). For that money they should be engineered to stand on their own or at least make the stand visually appealing (ex. Godzilla's Tail Stand should be water)

XM Spacegodzilla Deluxe Version is about 32H x 35W x 47D & that one is around $2000, so I wonder what they'll actually price this one.

godzilla is a nightmare to display. It's the tail that is the killer. I realize this when i thought i wanted to collect the X-PLus 30CM Line. they're great nice size 12" tall, great retail price, but they are 12" tall and all at least 15" deep. they were a pain, the Gigantic Series are even worse, but i gladly made room for those.
I think its interested Prime1 went with the "Gigantic" tag on this piece. similar to Xplus.

I feel like they were "minimizing" the impact of the
Godzilla vs. Kong Battle Diorama with how this was marketed.
I still feel the dio is the far superior piece of the two.

They are vinyl. I don't think any of their new pieces need a tail stand? I know the new Furious Red Shin Godzilla they making the tail one piece now. The reason the Gigantic Xplus needed tail stands were to help prevent the tail from sagging over time and warm weather. I think it was a good call with the 2019 Godzilla I have but the Gigantic 1954 I bought doesn't really need it.
