Either that or he's bringing down that mace from up high on someone's skull with a nice screaming portrait.

Of course Sorceress will sell well. As long as they're pretty hot chicks, Teela, Sorceress, and She-Ra will be sellers.

Sideshow let artistic hubris get to them with their last She-Ra. Not making the girls young and beautiful is not a recipe to maximize sales.

Why does everyone seem so concerned about the length of the line. Was it because of some statement or just people expect the worst from experience?

Scarglow is a SUPERB choice because he the design appeal. Nobody's paying $600 for Jitsu's design.

This is the problem EVERY Thundercats "line" has had and it looks like so will Tweeeterhead's will too.

If they all just look like slightly different versions of the same cat people people they don't hold enough interest to get people to buy!

Totally disagree, Scareglow is a Skelton, I like skeletons & skulls, but he's just not unique, Skulls and Skeletons are made in everything, you used probably my worst example in Jitsu, but no way Scareglow will sell better than Tri Klops, Clawful Whiplash or Faker, which are much more iconic characters in MOTU

Scareglow has a tremendous fanbase. He just does not have typical character recognition or nostalgia.

But beside that you have to look at the designs with an uninitiated eye.
Random cool caped Skullguy will outsell big Claw Crabdude any day of the week.

Remember all these cats were designed to sell toy figures first and foremost and there's a reason why Mattel went back to the skull guy well.

I'll give any of these characters a chance. Just want to see the line thrive and expand to include as many as possible. Most excited for Sorceress . . a little less so for Scare Glow just because I have Skeletor coming in a few months. If Scare Glow had popped up before Skeletor, I'm sure I would have felt much differently about him. Design is pretty sick. Man-At-Arms doesn't really move me either way. Glad to see he has a statue coming but I'm going to need to see more in the sculpt. And I'm sure TH will deliver.

As for big Claw Crabdude, that's my #1. Just want him in the rotation somewhere.

Ok fair enough, I just think differently, MOTU is about nostalgia, and Clawful is full of that, and he's a unique character, I'm not sure a cool skull guys will sell as fast as you think, because there's plenty of cool skull guys out there, including already in this line with Skeletor, but there's not many cool Red Monsters with Lobster hands, I do think this Sorceress will be a big hit though and can't wait to see her fully revealed

No nostalgia isn't enough. If it were PCS would still be doing straight Filmation or Tweeterhead would have picked up there..
Sorceress had got to bring the pretty and that "something for kids is NOT supposed to be this sexy" energy.

Nothing is certain but given prior toy lines people like their Scareglow figures.
After these new 4 shown and past Evil-Lyn and Tri-Klops, if Tweeterhead manages Clawful, Whiplash, Ram-Man, Man-E-Faces, Moss Man, and yes fan demanded Stinkor (another example of an obscure character but a SUPERB design) we'd be VERY lucky and it would be Mission Accomplished on the line.

I want a Ram Man statue so bad.
Moss man can tap into that Swamp/Man-Thing vibe but I have no idea how to make a good Ram Man statue. I'd be thrilled for Tweeterhead to make me eat my hat though! (or theirs!)
