Sure, in isolation she looks great.

But once one compares it to the prototype, there’s a noticeable difference.

Sideshow should really get their prototypes painted by their factories, as the whiplash gets kind of ridiculous with some of their female pieces.

Yeah definitely seems to be a bit of a downgrade from the prototype, which was beautiful. I'm not a DC fan at all and was thinking about picking this one up. Will definitely be waiting to see these in peoples hands now before making any moves.

I think her lips are painted in line with the sculpt of them. Zoom in on the middle pic posted a page back. At most, the bottom lip is missed a little along the bottom, but the painters followed the sculpt. They were sculpted like Babs gets lip fillers, while the deep red showcases them.

Are you looking at the same picture that I am? The ends of her lips on both sides are not painted with the sculpt!

I never expect a production pieces to look exactly like a prototype. Very few get it close, if you want close to prototype you better be willing to pay the difference.

Yes on this one there is a bit of a difference in the shading, but the lips and eye brows are the biggest stand out. The eye brows got a rougher application rather that looking smooth, but unsure if its the lighting ?

Regardless I think it still looks great enough to deserve a PO. It isn't like some previous sculpts that production made me pass on something (for me scarlet witch was the more recent one, but i know there have been others for folks).

Yea, in some angles. I think it's because her lips weren't painted closer to the corners of her lips. If her lipstick were closer to both corners of her lips, then it would look better, I think. The overall portrait (its paint app & sculpt) still looks gorgeous, tho.

I don't believe the prototype was either. But I believe the lipstick was closer to both corners of her lips, tho, on the prototype.

Definitely. I love this sculpt though. Am I crazy enough to try and fix the lips myself?
