Nailed it and nailed it! SolidLiquidFox is a mini-forps!!!
Sideshow is behaving amateurish when trying to produce something bigger than 1/4 scale. It is a thing of the last years. Sideshow gave us a behemoth of a bust, LoD LSB, Sideshow gave us Predalien LSB, but now their artistic department is a bit lost. There might be
a bias against big sculpts INSIDE Sideshow. I dont know.
Sideshow's LSF line was the definition of a DISASTER. Zero artistic direction, zero constistency, zero interest. They simply did not give a .... about that line. They completely abandoned LSF line and left space for Prime1.
Prime1 came in and showed Sideshow how to do it. I admit that their Affleck Batman 1/2 has an awkward pose or Joker 1/2, but with Superman 1/2 they produced a masterpiece. They nearly sold 1000 pieces! Sideshow was something like "Nah, 1/2 scale doesnt sell good enough. Especially movie statues"
Prime1 got it right and now she is GOATing with the new WW on horse! Or their other offerings @ 1/3 scale. Prime1 slowly found the way to produce interesting statues with tons of details, realism and of course HUGE sculpts.
Sideshow should wake up and
invest TIME and resources in producing bigger than 1/4 scales statues. I have a feeling that Sideshow is being left behind, she simply
cant follow the hurricane named Prime1 coming in full speed and GOATing, left and right. Im going to write some tips tomorrow (in Sideshow's threads). Till then, Prime1 is the undisputed WINNER of the 2 cons (SDCC and WonF). HANDS DOWN.
Thanos on Throne was a good example how a MONSTROUS statue priced @ 1200d sells like hot cakes, but Sideshow probably did not get the message. Market is hungry for HUGE sculpts in order for the collector to justify the new crazy prices. The bigger, the better. Sideshow, im telling this 1 f...k year now. With today's prices,
yes, YES, YES, SIZE DOES MATTER. (1/6 scale for collectors who cant follow the crazy prices and
1/3 scale are the 2 HOT scales right now)
