Where are you again, mwf? Ohio?
I know Illinois has had a pretty brutal winter this year too.

Great! Sunny and blue sky! And it's finally warming up! The only snow to be seen around here is on the mountains that surround the valley.

Yeah, it's nice here too today, but not as nice as there, I imagine. This is definitely the time of year to live on the Western Slope! (August, not so much.)

Ooh, KC. Yeah, they get some weather. Most of the storms that pass right over Denver are headed out to the eastern plains, straight through Kansas and right to you. Sorry, man.
On the bright side, KC is a cool city, and you have some kickin' BBQ.

Around Easter, usually. Pretty soon, on and off. The problem with biking to work (which is what I usually do), is that you can't trust that the good weather you have in the morning will still be there for you in the afternoon.
But just to go for a ride--I'm already doing that with my girls. Which is fun, and good to stretch your legs a little, but not great in terms of aerobic exercise.

Now that's a deal, my friend. I actually come through KC about once a year, heading back to Illinois to see family.
A good friend of mine is writing a book on BBQ. He's been out there, too, doing "research".

It does tend to be warmer here than in Denver, which is fine with me! Remember, I'm the guy that wants to move back to Phoenix!
Since you're a bicyclist, I think that August is when the Tour of the Valley (century ride around the valley) event is held. I've done it once and it was rather brutal - 100 miles is hard to do when it's over 100 degrees outside!
