I have been waiting for a bust to ship for over 1 year.
The bust in question was in the hands of collectors back in April 2023. It is now October 2024

I recently contacted Spec Fiction Shop, and learnt that they have a warehouse in China.
As soon as the bust arrives in their Chinese warehouse, they will be shipping it

I have to admit, i am starting to wonder. Hmm..

Yeah that’s a long time for sure, but to be fair depending on the company (Like Queen Studios) they produce in batches. I’m still waiting on a 1/4 scale Heath Ledger Joker from Queen from Spec due to the batches.
Then let’s factor in a smaller company waiting for and securing a shipping container. There are Tons of delays due to that from much larger companies.

I’ve ordered over 15 statues from Spec and only had one issue, and it was that they just never got it in. I canceled and got it elsewhere.

My only issue with Spec is that I believe they really need to upgrade their ordering system. Reward Points don’t always go to account after purchase. System doesn’t always update to paid status when using partly.ily. (Have 2 orders like that as we speak, yet they are paid up) And orders should be put in some Assemblance as to who ordered first, and those people should get their items first. Other than that no issues with them at all.

Spec have stated they will ship directly to me from China.
The shipping container delay does not factor into my order.
Originally i thought the shipping container was the reason for the delay. Infinity Studio appear to be the reason for the delay.
I 'assume' Infinity Studio have their busts made in China?

In this hobby, we need it. We spend too much money on these things, and we have to hope our money isn’t held hostage, or that we have been a victim to a scam.

Ahhh ok, not sure if Infinity is in China or not..have you looked on the Infinity website to see if the bust in question is in stock or still on pre order..this way maybe you can see if they are in fact making it in batches or not.

And yes we will have to trust Todd until we can?t..luckily for myself I?ve been more than satisfied.

I emailed Infinity, and no reply.
Their site is not the type of site you can purchase directly via.
I assume they only deal with business enquires, not collector questions.

Gotcha. I don’t own anything from them nor do I have any of their products. Stinks you can’t get a straight answer from anyone regarding shipping dates.
