such a gifted and talented actress-she did light up the screen in whatever she was in-she left a legacy of work to be enjoyed.

Very sad news. I fondly remember her from Tootsie and Mr. Mom.

This is such incredibly strange news to hear today. No lie. This morning I was reading the rate your last movie thread and saw someone talking about Young Frankenstein. I've never seen the movie before, but figured I'd look it up on IMDb. So, I looked it up to see who all starred in the movie and saw that both Madeline Kahn and Teri Garr were in it. I then went to Teri's IMDb page to see if she was still alive and it said she was. Then, this happened later the same day.

If you love Mel Brooks movies - Young Frankenstein is tops. Space Balls, Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles are my faves in order.

Teri is especially beautiful in black and white.

I'll have to watch. Maybe I'll wait and watch it tomorrow on Halloween.
