I dont think it was a mistake, if you look at some images from the Suicide Squad movie, the Heart tatto is sometimes higher in the cheek and other times it is in the same postion as the statue, so even in the movie, they couldnt get it right

Good catch. I found some other images from the movie that show the heart tattoo set lower on the cheek. I never noticed it before.

The Sideshow heart tattoo is lower than the images above. There is something off with it's position. It appears to have been placed in a typical beauty spot position. The angle / left tilt also appears to have been over done, taking into account Harley's mouth is closed.

The fact remains, the tattoo is in a different place to the prototype. The factory messed up.


Possibly the logical reason could be, the factory added the tattoo after the front hair section was added.

I wonder if the factory lowered its position because they thought the hair hanging down would cover it up. It’s not a deal-breaker for me either way, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.

I just had to chime in on this and say I think this might be one of Sideshow's most accurate portraits yet. They usually miss the mark by quite a lot. This is surprisingly close to Robbie. Easily blows away Prime 1's attempt to capture her.

I received the Prime1 piece a couple of weeks ago. The portraits are good, but not perfect. The laughing and bubble gum portraits are closest to a Margot Robbie likeness. When I get the PF next week, I’ll post pics comparing the two statues. I’m curious to see the portraits side by side in person.
