I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Thats not a dream, its a coincidence! It certainly seems like something that would stand out, but ask yourself this - how often do coincidences not happen?

This thread has slightly gone into the Twilight Zone of "creepy encounters" vs "worst nightmares".
OK, I sometimes have a recurring disturbing dream where there is a rat in my home and whatever I do to kill it doesn't work. I use a stick, a heavy object, etc etc. It just will not die.

Great thread! Enjoying the spooky ghost encounters!
As bad dreams go, the ones that I can remember the most and is the most recurring is either I would be "bouncing" in like a zero gravity room and the things around me will grow bigger and I will be shrinking gradually until inevitably I end up stuck to the corner of the ceiling.
The other recurring one has me walking towards something but it slowly gets harder to walk. Like gravity pulling harder or something holding me back. It would get impossibly frustrating.
Those two nightmares always mean that I will fall ill a few days later, I realized as I got older and I've had them since I was a kid. Even into adulthood.
I know dreams have certain meanings. I haven't quite figured it out yet.
No ghost encounters to share though.
