Zombie Holocaust Survival Tip #2.

Zombies are not intelligent. They are as dumb as fenceposts. If you think they'll figure out how to drive a car, or pick a lock, you're in for a pleasant surprise. They can't do either one. Anyone who tells you this is mistaken.

Zombies have only their reptile brains running things. The reptile part of the brain is where you find the most very basic intellect, and even then that's giving them too much credit.

They only seem to be able to do amazing things because people leave cars running, doors unlocked, or more importantly windows unboarded.

What Zombies do have to their credit, is the ability to sense the living, even when they have no eyes to see, no nose to smell, no ears to hear, etc. This ability hasn't been completely documented scientifically, but I've written more than a few words on the subject.

The best thing you can do to avoid zombies, is to climb to higher elevations.

Zombie Holocaust Survival Tip #3.

Contrary to what video games tell you about Zombies, you cannot heal yourself with a can of bactine, nor can you heal yourself or give yourself even more health if you mix red, yellow, and green herbs. Blue herbs also will not cure poisoning.

In fact, by the time you hunt said herbage down, you will unfortunately be one of the living dead, and what good would herbage do you then?
