That's a wrap on the body. All painted, sealed and assembled (no pun intended). Next up is the main head sculpt (looking up). Then I have to do the shield and shield hand. There is a looking down head sculpt, unmasked head, left hand holding Thor's hammer and another left hand holding his mask that I'll get to... eventually. Thanks for looking guys!

Thanks Sonic! It's a tough piece to paint because it demands clean, crisp lines like you said...and you couldn't ask for a tougher combo to deal with than red (doesn't cover well) and white (very unforgiving). The shading is tough because the musculature isn't well defined and sometimes subtle is harder to achieve than flashy. It still took three shades of blue and pure white to get that subtle look. There's more pronounced raised areas on the boots and gloves so they were easier. All part of the learning process.

Working on the head sculpts and shield now. Flesh tones are done on the main sculpt, the other two have been primed, base coated and sealed. The shield is painted up to the white stripe and ready to move to red. I used mini magnets and washers to make the glove hand removable...I might want to pose it with two fists and the shield leaning on the base. Also considering a rig so I can hang the shield on his back.

Great collection.
Very classy display set up.
Impressive paint work.
Did you also repaint the dragon figure on the table?
