They really should forgo the wings altogether, they are not associated with the character nor needed for the piece.

And I hope the "Robins" look more like children in the final sculpt and not grown teenagers. P1 really captures Capullo's take on them.

If executed properly I will no doubt buy, thinking $1250 US?

i ordered the prime1 version, but this one looks really great too.
i am very interested in seeing a painted prototype. maybe i will hunt it down, if this turns out great (like most of the xm statues do)

Very cool. But I think I would like it more if BWL was standing up. I don't think this 1/4 will be saving anyone space over the 1/3 due to the wings.

Yeah i always took this as smoke giving the appearance of implied wings but not something he actually has. Making them thicker and attaching them to the character completely changes the context and looks weird imo

It looks nice and all but 1) This will probably be more expensive than the P1 1:3 scale version and 2) I'd hope those wings are removable. I imagine they are.

XM answered me on facebook that wings will be removable.
Which is great because the character never had wings.

So far I prefer the rendition of Prime 1, even if its 1/3.

Wings are probably attached to the base, not to the laughing guy.

I would defiantly ditch the wings... I think it would be pretty much impossible to copy the smoke from the comic cover, on the statue they look to solid...

I am not feeling this. The Robins aren't scary enough, the wings are sort of out of left field, and the face sculpt is meh. The Prime 1 version blows this out of the water IMO.

Exactly Prime 1 > XM BWL.
