I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

6/10 for me.
Yet another Star Wars film about the Death Star? They need a new plot.
The two leads lacked screen presence, didn't like the robot character, forest Whittaker was weird.
I liked the visuals, it was gritty, and the Darth Vader scene at the end was cool, but overall I would say this was just ok. I liked the force awakens more.

Watching the prequels today (they're my favorites, bite me) made me like Rogue One less. I think it's just because of how much I love and relate to the character of Anakin.

You're not the only one who enjoys the PT. Personally I'll take any of them over ROTJ and TFA. That said I think Rogue One is an amazing entry into the SW universe and not only bridges the gap between the PT and the OT but makes A New Hope a better film.

Last night on ABC Nightline, they featured a 7 minute segment on how ILM handled the f/x including CGI for Leia and Tarkin in Rogue One. GOOD STUFF!!

To add to the realism of flying an X-Wing, they constructed a POV cockpit with a MASSIVE screen surrounding the actor/pilot to fully immerse them in the experience.

I know I'm in the minority. ROTJ has always been my least favorite entry for various reasons and TFA just wasn't original enough for me to consider it one of the best. Say what you will about the PT but it has a much deeper narrative than the OT, some truly amazing moments and some of the coolest world building/vehicles/characters in the entire SW Saga.
