That is a major bummer. Maybe they don't have enough product to showcase. Year after year their displays have become more and more of the products they distribute, and less of what they actually produce.

No 12 Days…

No SDCC…

Yet they’re still doing product reveals? This feels like marketing cost cutting.

You’d think they’d do their Sideshow Con still. Otherwise, what are we doing here?

If they skip out on Spooktacular, there are problems afoot.

Sideshows booth at SDCC used to be the highlight of the year for me but in recent years I've been dissapointed, I'm more looking forward to the Iron studio booth with their Spiderman VS villians diorama & Everybody VS Thanos dio. PCS with all their killer stuff lately also Tweeterheads amazing MOTU offerings.

This company is dead. Just a distributor now. What use to be is 95% gone

If this isn't a sign Sideshow is in trouble, I don't know what is. I'd be ticked if I was going to SDCC with the expectation of seeing a lot of statues at their booth and then they pull out (after having gone to the event for YEARS).

I went to New York Comic Con in 2019 when Sideshow, XM, and Queen were there. It was great. I went to NYCC in 2022 (when all of those companies did not attend) and was pretty disappointed in the event overall.

My first say 7 years of collecting, collectors LOVED SSC
Say from 14 SSC was beaten up A LOT. yes some duds but I love their stuff. I have had what 100 of their statues, there are just a few I would complain about.

Shocking in a depressing way. But, then on the flip side, it feels like none of their social media/marketing employees are still working there anymore.
