Snap, in fact I think I'll watch that again today. Been meaning to give it a second viewing for a while now.

Venom - 5/10 - A fun but flawed good time. The overly CGI set-pieces were kinda underwhelming (I found myself tuning out of the motorcycle chase and the ending fight was very muddled).
Halloween (2018) - 5/10 - Also a fun but flawed good time. A nice throwback companion piece to the original. Very fun and brutal in places, but near the end a few character motivations were yadda-yadda'd to move the plot and leave room for a possible sequel.

Christopher Robin - 6.5/10
This is a hard movie to rate, I thought the first half of the movie was excellent as it explored how as an adult we lose our child like qualities and become rather jaded by what life throws at us but the second half became very cheesy like your standard kid movie...
It's like the first half of the movie was written by someone who was targeting adults as it's main audience and then the second half of the movie was written by someone targeting kids around 10 years old...
It's a shame, I think they were onto something making this a more mature movie but they just didn't follow through with the story and for whatever reasons changed gears for the second half.

It (2017) - 5/10
Well made film. Possibly too much Cgi. As hard as they tried, the clown wasn't as scary as the clown that appears during It (1990)

Rampage 6/10
Ok popcorn movie but no real story and a CGI fest. But guess that should be expected with what the film is based on

Agreed. Liked the cast, even Solo, and thought they had chemistry...except that one feminist robot. Lol. Awful.
I really wish there was a Solo 2! Really liked it and hated Last Jedi.

Halloween (2018) 8.5/10
Great movie. I really enjoyed it. Felt like I was watching the classic all over again with all the eerie atmosphere,a bigger body count, great shot framing, and a updated musical score which remained true to the original.
