Ballad of Buster Skruggs. 8/10

This anthology gets a 10/10 alone for cinematography. It has beautiful backgrounds and sets of the old Western Frontier, really it's extremely well written and includes some very talented actors. I was especially happy to see Tom Waits appearing as a grisly old prospector.
"The Girl Who Rattled" felt a bit long for me but otherwise I loved this collection of tales and higly recommend it .

Agreed. Tom Waits story was the best one IMO. Liam Neeson’s story upset the wife a little.

Yeah that one was pretty unsettling.
Spoiler
Life was much different then especially for someone like the bard who's condition left him extremely vulnerable in that environment. I was thinking it was like how close to raw nature mankind was where the weak are devoured first by predators. Even still I figure what Neeson's character did was merciful considering the alternative the guy with his handicap was facing.

That’s awesome! Was considering doing the same thing. Although I’d skip Rocky V as that’s the only one I don’t own/care for.

The Crimes of Grindelwald 6/10

I am so over Depp, so I'm sure that took off at least a point lol

The movie moves the character's stories, but doesn't serve as a good stand-alone adventure. I did have several questions going through the movie, only one was answered and then a few others were tossed out there. I am very fascinated as to the course of Nagini's story.

These movies don't have the same magic (no pun intended) for me as the original HP wizarding world stories. I think Rowling would have been better served, as the fans, to have written this story as a book or three. Then use editing to get what we need. Her head is so full of creativity and a HUGE world that 2.5 hour movies don't serve it justice. I love HP, so I will see all of these movies -- but I just wish I had a books to lose myself in too.

1) Depp has gotten old so no more boyish good looks
2) He's been in so many movies I think people are tired of him
3) His personal life being plastered all over the tabloids doesn't help either.

But yeah like you I'm not a fan of his as much as I used to be.. I preferred when he only did those odd ball movies like Edward Scissors Hands every 3-4 years but now that's he's done like several movies in a shot period of time, you just get burned out... I feel the same way about Jennifer Lawrence.. To much is never good as people get tired of seeing you...

Nativity Rocks 4/10

Got tickets to a free preview otherwise i'd have waited for it to be on tv
Hasn't got any of the charm of the others and the jokes are forced and falled flat. Clearly not filmed anywhere near Christmas time and the budget mustn't have stretched to fake snow. Would avoid unless you have easily amused young kids
