I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Just wanted to drop a note that my Guyver: Dark Hero bust showed up yesterday. I've been a huge Guyver fan for a long time and own several kits and a few maquettes of the characters. I also have a really rare 1:1 animated Guyver head. The ECC bust is far and away the best Guyver piece ever made. Mine is crisply painted and there are none of the defects which other folks have reported except for a slight marring of the black gloss paint on the base under the actual bust. The eyes, chrome "control metal" and overall paintwork is superb. Mine has a high degree of layered "mottling" and veining to the work. Overall, this is probably my favorite 1:1 scale bust of all time. I would love to know how many were actually produced as I can't imagine the full license run sold out. By the way, mine is No. 20.

pretty cool, but unless it was like $100-200, I'd have no interest in it. I'm surprised that they would even do something like this, but I guess milk it while they can.

Same goddamn issue with the base. Already emailed cinemaquette.
Seems like they went easy on the black paint with my bust.

Mine is light too. Which I like. Some of them looked polka-dotted on the forehead.

Mine came in on Saturday and also had the base issue but it wasn't so bad that it bothered me with him on top. Only issue i have is that my switch doesn't make the eyes come on right away,I kinda have to mess with it which sucks but it works. I've owned a few amazing pieces but this by far is the most impressive collectible I've ever owned. The bust is flawless and seems to me a true 1:1 scale. Not to mention how incredibly heavy he is. Gonna need to invest in a solid wood pillar. I'll post a few pics up later
