I agree, if I paid $420 for this piece I would have returned it. But for $240 it exceeds expectations. I am still pissed my torso doesn't fit right, and my feet dont sit completely flat. but I do like the colors used on this statue for the most part.

I think step one is going to be a little research... thats an email to ARH about the comic book characters. That way I'm getting the info right from the horses mouth so to speak.
I think I want to stay away from cool colors like black and gray... I feel like that will give it an "undead" look. I don't want people thinking its a zombie barbarian. I'll probably play with a light flesh tone, then maybe a light brown wash, then highlight it up... maybe working some blue into the veins...

Yeah... those parts don't mesh well on my piece either. It gives me a lot more appreciation for the work that Ehren is doing.
