Thanks!
PCS should do more to show production pic's. I was worried for a short time.
Seems the worrying was for nothing

Aeon Flux 1/3 by Premium Collectible Studio

80/400 is in the house

Here are some Out of the Box shots,
Shot in a room i am currently in the process of painting white.

A round of applause to all at PCS and the factory that appears to have delivered a piece that is close to proto.

No need for a review from me. I will let the photo's speak from themselves.
No fancy lighting, simply natural daylight, on a slightly overcast day.

I added to Aeon Flux 'eye' to the 1st image, as there were some barewires in view.

10/10 PCS
nice!! jackpot on the factory!

There appears to be no sign of what i call 'graining' (a sandgrain type of texture).
I am not quite sure why, it tends to happen with some Sideshow Collectibles pieces, especially on the hair area.
Could it be the result of poor poly-stone mixing?

i can say from experience it can also be from airbrushing when the paint is too thin going through a partially clogged air brush causing the the paint to dry super fast and at the same time tiny bits of paint fly off from the airbrush tips....using too much PSI airbrushing causes this too...especially if in a tight or small space that is hard to smooth out with very fine grit sandpaper

If it is going to happen, why is it it nearly always seems to happen on the hair?

Elena Street Fighter Season Pass 1/4 statue from PCS

No. 004/450

Some quick out of the box photo's, lighting from a mobile phone, which is less than ideal.
Ideally Elena should be photographer outside in the sunshine.

Got home from work today and Elena had arrived (my neighbour had taken the parcel in).
Opened the box to make sure there were no breakages, and all seemed well.

The box was not too large, not too heavy either.
Assembly took no time, and involves the base, body, portrait, one lower right leg and a right arm

The metal rod inside the left support arm is quite thick. I expected it to be thicker.
Given the weight of the piece (lighter than a typical Sideshow Collectibles PF) i hope the piece stands the test of time.

Looking over the piece, all surfaces appear to look smooth.
The paint app looks sharp. The red, blue and gold rings look very well painted.

The clear resin base looks very well done, bar one area - the black part of the lower base appears to be covered in marks?
By marks, i mean - there appears lots of production scratches (..or glue lines?) around the edge?
I could image some collectors returning the piece or demanding a form of refund.

I picked up Elena from BBTS as they had 30% off!
Also, BBTS double box the parcel complete with bubble wrap at no extra cost.
Postage from the US to UK was very quick!

The plan is pair Elena with the PCS Laura Matsuda
