RIP Caroll Spinney
https://my.xfinity.com/articles/ente...nney-Obit-8caa
For pretty much anyone on this board that watched Sesame Street, we grew up with this gentleman but never knew who he was. Caroll Spinney was the voice of Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch from 1969 to 2018. He definitely, I feel, influenced and entertained millions of children daily.
RIP Caroll - you definitely showed us how to get to Sesame Street.

Such a fantastic presence in so many of our childhoods. Rest in peace, Caroll.

“I would really be doing something right, perhaps even important, if I was bringing even a little more compassion into the world through Big Bird.”
“The most important lesson I've learned is that first you have to dream, and then you have to believe in your dreams. That is the only way for them to come true.”
--- Carroll Spinney
