I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Doctor Who scared the hell out of me when I was little. There was this Tom Baker story set in some caves, and this big worm thing that melted people when it touched them, anyone know the one I'm on about?

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

If we're name dropping in this thread, I saw Tom Baker in my local Marks & Spencer after work one day. He was standing in the que, reading a copy of "The Times" (the large old format) in a very "don't mind me" way.

I don't think that he looked scared of me. Perhaps I don't look like a stalker, unlike JM28

You might be thinking of "The Green Death" which had caves and giant worms, but that was a Jon Pertwee story, or "Image of the Fendahl" which also had giant worms, but wasn't in any caves.

Try looking at the BBC's Doctor Who website as this has plot summaries for all the stories (I would have done a hyperlink, but can't seem to make it work)

And yes, I am a bore ......

Time to namedrop again then! When I was young, I got Peter Davidsons autograph, he was opening a new housing estate near me or something. Have no idea where the autograph is now though.

Is it possible you had your fly down? I heard you guys in the U.K. have armadillos in your trousers.

Since we are all part of the Who fan family, I must join in on the name dropping. I have not been as lucky as you guys to see or meet any Doctors or Companions but I did meet Terry Nation (creator of the Daleks)years ago at a Sci-Fi convention here in New York. I still have an autograph picture of him standing next to a Dalek. R.I.P.

You make a valid point, she's definitely up there!

The new music is cool too. Shame the title sequence doesn't have the goofy picture of the doctor like it did in the old shows. TB's pic is quite creepy

I am enjoying the new updated theme music and title sequence. I agree that it would be fun to have the current Doctor’s face fade in.
