I ordered the Indiana Jones exclusive. I like it slightly better than the regular version, because it has the idol, so I figured if I was only going to get one of the two, that would be it.

The Qui-Gon Jinn bust is not attractive at all, though. I don't know why they continue to produce busts with that "holographic" effect.

These spirit/holographic variants are simply a cheap way to double-dip on a bust and a way to get rid of excess inventory. Qui-Gon wasn't very popular and both Yoda and Maul were overproduced.

They have to make new castings for the holographic and spirit busts though, because they're made from different materials than the regular busts, so that doesn't really do much for excess inventory problems.

I guess it helps them get more mileage out of the molds, though.

Even during the scene in EP1, when Obi-Wan is communicating with Qui-Gon regarding testing Anakin's blood sample,....they were using a com-link!

Sheesh!!,..even the Holographic Darth Maul is appropriate during the scene when Sidious and Maul were talking to the Viceroy,...however brief the scene,..it makes sense at least, he was a holographic blue at that point.!!

Actually, oddly enough, no, they're not sold out.

I don't understand why, but they're still in stock as of this post.

If you can get someone with access to play middle man for you, you can still get it for retail price.
