Going off of Batwing's post about something freaky, not a dream. One time I was on a business trip in a hotel like any other trip. About 2 oclock in the morning, I am woken up by a noise and I wake up to see the tv had turned on by itself and was just showing static. I grabbed the remote and tried turning it off but nothing happened. I ended up having to get up and pulling the tv back and unplugging it and going back to bed. I think I was too tired to be freaked about it but it was weird. Next morning, tv was working fine when I plugged it back in.

Dentures might help.

My Night Stalker experience wasn't a dream, but a dream I DID have a few times as a kid was fleeing various individuals over the rope bridge from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom", and either the pursuers or someone I was with always fell into the drink, to the crocodiles below.
I think I fell off the bridge before as well, but I always got away from the crocs.

I had woken up and looked at the clock and seeing that I had plenty of time left before I had to get up rolled over and started to go back to sleep. Then someone sat on the end of my bed. It was at that point that I really woke up!
Ever since then I've been able to tell when I'm dreaming and can wake myself up if it's a bad one.
I also occasionally feel my cat walking up my bed as I'm falling asleep, which is odd seeing as how she disappeared a few years ago. I find that one comforting though.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Something that happens to me when Im about to fall asleep sometimes is that my mattress moves a bit...I think I must have some kind of involuntary muscle spasm when im about to drop off that causes it, but without realising i've moved, I'm just suddenly aware of the mattress quivering a bit like someone has shoved it.
