Pass by me. It's just another great tiny Alien piece with a big tag hooked onto it as far as I see it.
I love big scale pieces but I didn't know 19" is.."tiny"? A $400 kit with this level of accuracy and size is a steal. Any long time Alien fan should be able to see that. Sano made his name known to the world and lot of cash in the pocket. It sure is not a "waste" in my book.

This is tiny.

Looks like the kit is sold out now.

Anyone scored one?

Just got the e-mail for payment. I scored a kit.
$400 for this super accurate 19" kit is reasonable to me. It saved me $400 by buying it over the Sideshow maquette. Which I wasn't 100% in love with. All I wanted was an accurate representation of the suit used in the movie to go along with my CM Alien.
Now I will have that.

I don't. Since both site don't have intl. options in their ordering form.

Hobbysearch should have the piece up this week though.

I can't wait to paint this badboy! I'll have to watch the BR special features disc again before painting. It had a LOT of great reference shots.

Where's the little pipes on the elbow's?
Lol, trust me to find fault!

Its a lovely piece, outstanding.
The price for UK for special version is over a grand with the shipping, phew!
For a grand it should really be at least 36 inches!
The kit however is worth every penny, hmmmm

The piece is sculpted after the Giger museum piece. "Little pipe" is the last thing you should worry about. I don't consider it as a "fault". I mean, how many "fault" is on the HCG Alien? If one really want the spike/tubes, I'd say, just sculpt them in yourself.

Maybe...back in 1990s.

actually, if you redo the head on the hcg piece, it would be a lifesize version of this (apart from the hands and elbow protrusions)

And how much real work that is? Realistically. IF everything's done right by the right artist. It easier said then done, don't you think, my friend. I'd love to see one gets done and have that accurate look though.
