I think they changed the position of the wings for aesthetic reasons but for me it is missed because the wings are too high and too straight.
I will soon get my own, if it does not suit me, I will change the position of the wings on headsets and can be hair color.
To me, perfection was the first prototype.

I agree with majestic1 that Beta Ray Bill/Thor is one of the most honorable and bad-ass heroes in the Marvel universe. This version is too big for my setup at home and out of my spending range. I can only hope someone like Kotobukiya produces a Fine Arts version sculpted by Erick Sosa.

I have Thor and his wings flare out exactly like the Proto. Looks good to me.

Thor is the only XM I have and it looks just like the proto.
