Anyone like Casinos (Atlantic City) ????

I figure I just throw this out there. Lately with the new forthcoming opening of the Revel in Atlantic City; its tough enough to get a good seat at your favorite gambling table. Good thing the entire casino is smoke-free. I mostly play roulette at the Borgata but after visiting the Revel; the tables aren't as high as most other casinos. I was amused when I was walking through the main floor and all of a sudden saw a HOT STRIPPER-Like girl dancing on an elevated platform. It was located right adjacent to the black jack tables and a bar. Now ... how the hell are you supposed to concentrate with a fine piece of *** dancing right in front of you. Any interested gamblers should pay a visit to AC .... getting a lot better.

Friends of mine and I play Hold 'Em locally and in Vegas, but none of us have played in Atlantic City; that'd be a fun new venue.

I'm decent, but one of my friends has cleaned out players for years and would dominate at WSP, but he'll never pony up the entry fee.

I hit AC once or twice a year. It's enjoyable. Borgata, Cesar's and Wild West ar my favorites.

If you're that confident in your buddy, all pitch in and pay his buy in. Whatever he wins, you all split. Playing on that stage isn't that easy.

I actually go to Atlantic City quite a bit. (How else am I going to afford the always increasing commission prices?) I visited Revel a few days ago. It was pretty nice looking, they don't comp very well. Also, even though they have a very big gaming floor, they don't have that many tables. I assume they'll increase that during the hard open. I'll definitely visit again, but I still prefer Borgata and Harrah's due to the comp situation. On the plus side, Revel did put me back in the black after digging myself in to the red at Harrah's.

I just got back from AC this weekend. You are right ftrain1; the Revel doesn't comp as well as BORGATA. Might just be because its not officially open but that really shouldn't be a reason to do so. I basically play at Borgata. They take care of you pretty well. However; I have only seen a free SATURDAY only available to me twice this year. The hostess stated that I have to increase my average bet and also that there are a lot of more people now. If I have to increase my average bet from $80 to over $125 or so .... then I am better off staying at an average small chain hotel located on Route 33. I stayed at an Inn and cost me $55 versus the $179 that Borgata was charing me. That is my only debate with Borgata. I use to get free Weekends but nowadays I don't get them as much. Next weekend is BORGATA's free giveaway (think its a jacket) but in all honesty .... I just enjoy gambling. I am up this year so far and hope it goes well for me the rest of 2012.

Only two of us are willing to do that. So that's out. When I had the money to split it 50/50 with one guy (or 30 with two), they weren't interested.. though we all know he'd clean up. Bunch'a Scrooges.
He'll never pony up $10k himself, since he's retired from the AF now and basically just gambles for a living.

I told him he should just write a book on Texas Hold 'Em and make money that way, but he won't.. until he wins a huge pot, since he'd discuss his methods in the book.
