The old one was based on Rocky II. But yes, very similar concept.

The likeness is pretty good but a little refinement is needed, IMO.
The facial features are mostly fine. The nose maybe a little on the wide side. The shape of the face seems a bit too strong and too wide.
SS in Rocky 1 looks a little thinner compared to the rest of the Rocky movies. Overall, it is an impressive sculpt.
