Wired or Wireless
I have my PS3 hook up to the Internet wirelessly at the moment but it's in the same room as the router and was wondering if there is any real benefit of having the connection wired.
When updating the PS3 it's quicker to download it onto a USB stick and then upload it to the PS3 than downloading it directly on the PS3 would having it wired speed up the download?

wired will speed it up but not enough for it to really matter. besides you dont want those ugly wires across your floor.

Speed wise, there's not much difference, but I've found that game lag is much lower with a wired connection.

As long as its pulling in a good signal wireless, leave it be. Wired won't make that much of a difference.

I agree with everyone else. The wire wont make much of a significant difference.
