I agree with you. In my case, R rated movies are a treat that I enjoy watching by myself and most likely at home. PG and PG-13 flicks are our family way to go at the theather. The older I get, the more family oriented I become.

Marvel, hurry up and make Ant-Man 2 so I can order my Hot Toys Wasp!
Anyone else catch the Spider-Man reference with the bit at the end with Anna Akana as the writer.
Loved seeing Peggy Carter

Seeing Peggy Carter in the 80s was another highlight for me as well.

I think he is just letting cap basically know about Ant-man, prob his way into the avengers...even after that scene fads it says ant man will return. Think it's just a bridge scene to civil war

That's how I read it as well. TBH one of the two post credit scenes should have been woven into the film and the other in the customary spot, close to the first credits IMHO.

Gotta slightly disagree with you although I do understand where you're coming from. I recently watched a couple of famous Disney animated movies (The Hunchback of Notre Dame & Lion King) and those 2 movies involve death right from the start. HB loses his mom in a violent but accidental death and Simba loses his father in LK to someone who is essential his uncle. Kids are much smarter than we give them credit for so I personally don't see the problem with making Scott's motivation a terminally ill daughter who gets cured by the end of the movie.

As I mentioned up above, I think more kids would be able to relate to a divorced family and the situation that can set up as there is probably a 50% chance they are living it.
