Bit disappointing but I enjoyed the last outing with Aaron Cross so happy to hear they're making another even without Bourne.

I like the Bourne Trilogy - but thought Legacy was a bit of a bore...

i'm not sure what it is about them I just don't enjoy. The premise is something that is usually right up my alley but i guess the execution of it was lacking?

Glad to hear this. I'm one of those that loved The Bourne Legacy. I know its regarded by most fans as the weakest entry in the franchise but I found it equal, if not better than Supremacy and Ultimatum. Sure Legacy was more slow burn than balls out chase film but it took the overall narrative and aimed it in an interesting and new direction rather than just re-hasing the first 3 films. I don't think it gets the credit it deserves in that regard.
I hope with this entry they drop the 'Bourne' moniker too. I personally found Aaron Cross to be a more interesting character than the one dimensional Jason Bourne so I look forward to them expanding on him.

I liked the Bourne Supremacy. I did like the first three better, but I like Renner, and I'll definitely see this movie...

Supremacy was actually the second film, but I knew what you meant.
- Identity
- Supremacy
- Ultimatum
- Legacy
