Whoa!

That's a fairly substantial improvement in the overall likeness, to my eyes.

I didn't mind that they erred on the side on longer rather than potentially too short- but that little alteration seemed to change the whole head shape for the better.

I wonder if there was any curling involved, or if the hair just naturally would be inclined to curl without the extra weight at the bottom?

D'oh!

There is some distortion going on. I should have seen the perspective difference. The pre-styling photo is clearly elongating the face.

Still, I don't think there is any denying that the styling was a well done tweak that elevated it to a higher degree of screen accuracy.

The owner of that one should be very happy.

Lighting is also doing a better job in the post style pic of emphasizing how much expression Queen put into the face.
They got a good look of determination in those features, that the more focused side lighting brings out.
That'll be useful to know when I start designing the case and lighting for it.
Probably should start getting on that now.

Can I just just say the offcuts of hair that have fallen on her shoulders is giving me anxiety, it might be easy enough to get off but the way silicone sweats and makes things stick to it, I would have covered up the skin first personally

Would low tack tape be something that would be ok to use to pick up things like that? Or is even that too dicey to use on the silicone?

I’m still waiting on the WW bust. Earlier in the year the ETA got changed to July to August 2021. Now I believe it’s March to May 2022.

Not terrible as I can wait. As the only way I can display it is to box up another statue to make space. In my case it’ll probably be the Prime 1 1/3 WW Training version that’ll get boxed up.
