Mine still has a gap at the neck. I don't think they made the necks any longer or anything.

Mine has a very small gap too. Nowhere near as noticeable as the old head though. Once I got the jacket wedged up into the hair it mostly disappeared and sat more flush. You really have to be looking for it to know its there.

My Statue looks like this also... I wish i can post her photo so i can share it with you guys... but I dont know how. hehehe... Anyways, I think they replaced the regular head before they shipped it to the shop where I bought the statue. Not sure if the shop ask for replacement head... But as far as I know they didnt. Bec. immediately when they inform me that the statue arrived, I picked her up at once.. When the seller gave it to me, Her face is like this already.. Quite close to the prototype eye, I believe.. So i was so happy that She doesnt have the wandering, googly eyes... yeheey!!!

Received mine here in Italy...not bad...i was expecting much worse...stare is central and not sideways but they are well aligned.
