Hot Toys edition sizes

So I've only ordered 2 HT action figures (Thor and Supes EX) but why don't they post edition sizes or number them? If this was statue land there would an uproar over it.

I don't think HT ever list their ES. The figures are not numbered, if I recall.

So they could be making a boatload of them and we'd never know.

Possibly, but these usually sell out and skyrocket in price, so there's probably not boatloads of them being made.

It's kind of nice not having an edition size released. Less people will jump on board just to flip the item instead of wanting it for display.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying people have no right to do whatever they want with a product once they own it. I just like the thought of people making purchases for the product quality instead of the number.

I also dig the fact that Sideshow has an exclusive on a "D.C. related (eventhoughitisHotToys) product". Just one step closer to statues hopefully.

No ES so they can meet preorders and make as much money as possible.

If none of you guys are going to do it, then I will....I gotta point my finger and laugh at least a little at NBR3. He's been one of SF's biggest HT racists and now he's got pre-orders. I'm just messing with you, bro, but I had to do it. Congrats on the forward thinking. I bought my first HT this year and I've got 14 already. They're more fun to collect than you'd think.

Back on topic, it seems true they can and do make a ton of these, but there's so many HT collectors that it balances out.

Actually, planning on flipping. Hoping they go up big time.
