All statues get dusty. The clothing material is fine if you routinely dust it with an air compressor. Also, you can see the awesome sculpt underneath cloth. Also, keep in mind, PFs aren't all mixed media. IN fact, all you need do is look at She Hulk (should have been buffer) and Cyclops to see how a statue can still be a PF but be majority sculpted and still be awesome and look great.

Honestly, I would never buy a Comiquette Black Cat after getting the PF Black Cat. There is no way anyone can tell me she doesn't look sultry with that material, as well as Ms. Marvel. I hope SS is consistent with the style for DC. When I read that SS and DC have brokered a licensing deal of Premium statues, I take that as meaning SS's best format, and that clearly is SS PF and 1/4 Comiquettes when necessary.

I would prefer that but this joker seems to be great....

But we have to remember that we don't know if it is a PF or not. It might be a 12 inch Hot toys one

I depend on my retailer to get my SideShow statues.

I feel bummed when the regular versions come with heads that are not my liking.

I prefer it they leave the head alone, an exclusive with switch out hands/ different accessories is fine. Even different expression is fine. But a different style altogether.

The X-Women PFs like Rogue, and Psylocke. Granted, I see many here like the regular heads. But to me, they are more cartoony-styled looking. Same with the Madame Hydra. I like the look with fangs, not the cartoony-styled sweet look with wavy long hair.





I hope they don't do the same to the DC figures.
I wouldn't want the Joker PF to have a more realistic face sculpt for the EXCLUSIVE version and cartoony-exaggerated-deformed style for the regular version.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Batman PF announced to go along with the Joker (if it is in fact a PF and not a HT).

As much as I hate to think, I think DC statues will usher in an increase in price in statues by at least $30. I expect all statues in PF and 1/4 Comiquette form will now be $329 instead of $299. As long as the quality remains high, I will pay the increased price.

It could be from that other line that was announced, those articulated figues with clothing.

I hope it 'san articluated figure and that the actual DC statue line will be fully sculpted.
