I think sideshow just tried to make theirs more grounded in reality, a realistic take on the animated character. Not unlike Bowen Design’s Goliath statue from Gargoyles...”what would this character look like if real and not a cartoon?”
That Arkham design is something entirely different. Aside from the red bat it looks nothing like who it’s supposed to be. To me, anyway.
Also, if we’re keeping score on comic characters, sideshow has been changing almost every comic character’s costume to their own version. The X-Men, Avengers, Justice League...almost none of them are accurate to the comics. Terry is in the comics, so this is no different than any other character SS has done in recent years.

I think he looks good. He is a little buff for Batman Beyond but that's ok.

Batman Beyond was one of my favourite cartoons growing up, but this sculpt just isn’t the ‘right’ representation for me.
In general it looks okay, but Sideshow imo have again just taken way too many liberties with this character.
The only way this would work is if they did a prequel series for Batman Beyond when it was still Bruce.

It's been a while since I've seen the cartoon (maybe 15 years). Did Bruce ever say he fought crime in the suit beyond testing/trialing? He was 70(?) years old in Batman Beyond so he would've been in his 60s. The suit was designed so anybody could become Batman, I remember him saying that. It was never intended for himself.

Arkham knight design looks terrible, way to busy. I'm not a huge fan of either of these BB but i'd pick SS over P1.
