Probably an accurate assessment, but I still like the Batgirl statue even if she's not as svelte as generally depicted... it's Cho's style just like Turner's was lanky and rib-less. Supergirl is going to be a bit cherubic as well. Sort of like this...

I can see why DC switched sculptors from Jack Mathews to Jonathan Matthews following the enthusiastic reception to the Designer Series Frank Cho Wonder Woman statue, but I think Matthews is a mis-match to the Cover Girls line.
I've made my peace with this change, though, since I just won't buy any statues from the Cho/Matthews wave (saves me money and space). I'll wait for Jack Mathews to return, hopefully with Lupacchino or Frison designs.

Cho likes 'em thicc. There is not one piece he has ever drawn to not indicate this. No matter the character.
You either love it or you hate it.
Just like Turner and Campbell's work.
I personally think his art translates well to the physical.

I am not sure he is that polarizing. I agree with the others that it just depends on the character.

I am fine with all those artists, but do have preference for some with particular characters.
I love my Cho Wonder Woman statue, but doesn't mean will love every character they do based on his work.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
