Prime 1 Studio - Batman: Hush - Superman (1:3)

Need some advice. I have the option to pick this up on Sideshow, was on the waitlist. I love Supes, and the only statue I have of him is the OG Premium Format Exclusive from Sideshow. Should I pull the trigger and purchase him? This would be my first Prime 1 piece. This black suit version of him looks fantastic!!!

You won't be disappointed because it truly is one of the best 1/3 statues, if not the best comic representation of Superman at any scale imho. I have it next to the Hush Batman and Hush Ivy and this has so much presence into my collection and it's one that people gravitate to whenever they go into my Man Cave.

Congrats to you for having your Waitlist converted! This is hard to find now and its been sold out for quite some time.

Yeah, I think you are right. I went ahead and placed my order. I have been looking at this statue for quite some time and finally decided to purchase. I did not want to regret not purchasing this later on.

He really does look great. I may just have to decide whether I would want this to be "the" single Superman representation in my collection instead of a red/blue of some kind.

Deciding if I was ok with Recovery Suit Supes as my single Superman representation was my exact dilemma. I had the traditional suit on pre-order but canceled due to financial hardships. I have spent the last few months trying to wait it out for a decent deal but prices have steadily gone up from about $1800 when I first started looking to seeing one sell for $2400 in a FB group this week. That made my decision for me. As much as I like it I would have sour feelings about it if I paid that much. Luckily I have a painter friend and I confirmed that he would repaint him if that’s the route that I want to go. I bit the bullet and bought the black suit version yesterday. I have no ties to this version of Superman even though it looks really good. I won’t repaint it immediately so I would like to find a nice custom black cape for him. When it’s time for the repaint I would need to find a nice red cape and try to find someone selling any of the traditional portraits from the fabric cape edition.

Finally ordered this masterpiece. Now I have to decide where to place him. Lol. Should have him in my collection by the end of the month. He is majestic!!!

Black suit is awesome! In my opinion I would not change a thing on it. There will always be more red/blue Superman's in the future but doubt too many iterations of this one.
