Lol, that answer makes more sense. I guess it could be cultural as well, not a single member of my family has ever made a negative comment. In fact my wife has never made a comment about my statues in the past 15 years since I started collecting, except that I should organize them better.

I think it also relates to how comfortable individuals are in their own skin. You are lucky to be with someone who can just let you enjoy your hobbies but unfortunately culture and what others think can get in the way. Fortunately, as some of us get older we just don't give a fuhk and buy this piece.

so i just got prime1 message that statue (white one) will be shipping in 3-4 weeks. they did increased my shipping, it was $56 before now it is $74. hopefully they don't increase it too much.

Are they posting from Prime 1 to the US ?
I cancelled mine (white one and black one) as the shipping Prime 1 to the UK was $400
I have since pre_order from Sideshow (black one). I joined the waitlist and it converted. I lost both deposits, which sucks. I think the Sideshow shipping will be much lower.

its from prime 1, but i think prime 1 has a warehouse in the US. so they ship the item from there and that is why the shipping cost is lower for me. if it was directly from china, it would have cost me 2-3 times more. last statue i bought from them was Harley Quinn 1/3 and the shipping cost me $75. But their batman beyond 1/3 cost me $146.

i remember when i bought harley quinn, they said they will give me the shipping tracking # after the item reaches in their US warehouse and sent from there.

I don’t think that’s he case anymore. I’m in the US and prices went up al lot. Perhaps they were using a distributed like SecretCompass at the time.
