Sideshow default to air.
PCS appear to default to sea.
PCS when providing a tracking number should mention who they have shipped with.
When i have no idea who the courier is, i tend to try 17track first.
At the moment 17track returns the following info:
The number may belongs to one of the following carriers: (and provides a list 8 possible companies)
One of the 8 is bassed in the UK.
I visist the UK courier website and enter my traking number, only to receive the message:
We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel
This tells me, the parcel is in the hands of another courier company until it is in the hands of the UK courier company.
The parcel remains off the radar until get's pick up at some point?
DHL FedEx UPS will track a parcel throughout the whole journey.
I assume, PCS have found a way to lower shipping cost, which i am not complaining about
