Christmas movies over the holidays:

In Bruges (2008) - My favorite non-Christmas Christmas film, it's remarkable how the tone can go from hilarious to somber in a matter of seconds. 10/10

Un conte de Noel / A Christmas Tale (2008) - Mandatory viewing for me on Christmas Eve. 10/10

La buche (1999) - Like A Christmas Tale, what I like most about these two movies is that they aren't saccharine holiday celebrations. And they're very French. 7/10

Stalag 17 (1953) - My second screening after watching it for the first time last December, I like it even more now. 8/10

Joyeux Noel / Merry Christmas (2005) - A very good Christmas war movie based on true events. 8/10

Klaus (2019) - I would have preferred it to be even edgier, but this alternate origin of Santa Claus has a lot of mass appeal. 6/10

The Apartment (1960) - Another classic that's a top five all-time favorite. Best seen on New Year's Eve. 10/10

Mirai (2018) - A young boy encounters a magical garden which enables him to travel through time and meet his relatives from different eras, with guidance by his younger sister from the future.

Not my preferred style of anime, but the story is very good albeit a little wonky. 7/10

Stan & Ollie (2018)
8/10

Not for everyone, but i liked it.
Both Steve Coogan & John Reilly are excellent at portraying Laurel & Hardy

no way... you must have hit the "6" by mistake instead of the "9"

Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom (2015) - A documentary on the unrest in Ukraine during 2013 and 2014, as student demonstrations supporting European integration grew into a violent revolution calling for the resignation of President Viktor F. Yanukovich.

This documentary is a few years old and it's amazing how much worse the situation between the two sides has become since then. 8/10

Slow movie but enjoyable. Too bad the ending didn't happen in real life.

Don't Look Up - 8.5/10 Hilarious

Spider-man No Way Home - 9/10 A great way to end the trilogy
