Prime 1 Cyborg Superman tease

Even with the prices constantly going up, Prime is making statues of the characters I want so I'm in it for the long haul when it comes to their 1/3 DC line.

Looks like they have that metal spike leaning way back to offset the weight of the forward pose. Height and width is no biggie, but that depth though. Not a fan of the polyester/silky fabric cape, would have preferred sculpted or a leathery material. Still, this statue is sick af and I will likely get it. Kind of bummed TDK3 Supes hasn't gone up for PO yet though.

So it looks like Prime 1’s starting price for one of their 1/3 scale pieces have all progressed from $900 USD to $1,200 USD.

And I guess the difference between a regular and an Exclusive has now changed from a $50 difference to a $70 difference.

Hoping Artgerm line with upcoming Mera holds at $1100 price point established by Supergirl.

This Cyborg Superman looks nice, happy for those who want it and can afford it.

Not a Superman I'd buy, but it looks cool.

Main thing I look at is that April - June 2020 date, which means July - August 2020 on Sideshow. Which also means that some of the statues I'm looking to get that haven't been put up for PO/even announced yet (Bermejo Joker, Superman DKR, Catwoman Hush, Superman Hush Black, DKR Armored Batman) are looking more and more like 2021 if not 2022.

I'm going all in on the Miller stuff. His work translates to statues so well IMO. But if I have to wait until 2022 for TDK3 Supes and Armored Batman, I will rage quit the hobby. I'm talking full blown meltdown. Then the next day, I will accept what P1 gives me and I will like it.

I hear you man, on all counts.

I think we'll get the DKR Superman before that but the Armored Batman....my hopes aren't high. I mean all it is right now is a mention in a Facebook post so I think we'd have to see an unveiling by SDCC this year at latest to have before 2022 being a realistic shot. If I were to wager complete shot-in-the-dark guesses (Sideshow ship dates) at my plan-to-order-list it would be:

- Bermejo Joker - Late 2020-Early 2021
- DKR Superman - Late 2020-Early 2021
- Superman Hush Black - Early-Mid 2020, if it exists
- Catwoman Hush - Early-Mid 2020
- Armored Batman Late 2021-Early 2022

And sadly I feel I'm being optimistic in those dates lol. Sigh.....

Epic statue...

Unfortunately this somehow got put into the "horror" category as its disturbing to see a Superman like that for those that don't know the story... so will be skipping... congrats to those that get it though!
