I use my MacBook Pro for WoW, but i dont bother using bootcamp to play any other games.
i can tell you right now tho if you get vista, you will run into problems with every MMO out there. You are gonna want to get one with XP.

Downgrade to XP and it looks like a decent system and should work out fine.
just to be on the safe side check all the games you want to play and the suggested system requirements. Will give you a idea if this laptop is above the specs needed or on par with them. Cause to make any PC last, buy one thats above the recommended game specs so that it will hold out at least 3 years.

ya thats what sucks with laptop as gaming machines, no room to upgrade. All tho ebay you can get some mula back for it.
If DC comes out within 2 years you should be fine with it, if its longer then that you may just be running at the minimum specs for the game. Depending on if they are using a current game engine or a new one that hasnt been released yet.

I have Vista on my desktop and don't have any problems with City of Heroes/City of Villains.

I was thinking about getting an Alienware laptop, and after I built it, it was about 3.5k, and when I applied for their card (I have good credit mind you) they only gave me 2k and a 27.9% interest rate! I said f@#k that! I guess I'll just have to wait....
