I filed a paypal dispute for a commission that an artist basically told me it was coming for 6 months and I saw at 3 shows throughout that time. It was the only way I got my money back and that artist let the dispute go till the time expired.
Glad to hear you got your money back, it is the right call.
Always love to see Todd Nauck, very nice! Was it an at show commission? Todd usually doesn't do full figure so I'm a bit curious.

No. That was being on his at home list since 2013. No money until ready to start, and it took him about a week.

NEVER feel bad about outing artists who don't hold up their end of the bargain. What are you afraid of, not getting the artwork?? When you make a deal with an artist and they don't provide what you've paid them for, that's theft, plain and simple. The fact of the matter is these artists need your money more than you need their art, and a bad rep is the last thing they want.

Way to stick to your guns, Freeform. I have never had to file a PayPal dispute, but I'm glad to hear these smooth dispute stories in case I need to do it.
Shame you didn't get the art though, I like both of your choice in character!
