Yes!! A scandal!
A tsunami's the Mother of all Tidal Waves; I lived on islands as a kid.. we definitely took that threat seriously; I'm glad Carlo made it out okay.

Again, though.. great page, TC. Glad you're still hammerin' away at PH.

Man, it's such a great page. I wished it was clean and inked, but as far as Planet Hulk pages go, it don't get much better than this. Congrats!

Newbie question. Can it be inked over its bluelines so the spots won't be visible?

Most of the Hulk enthusiasts on here have pages with similar damage on them, from that storm. You honestly just learn to look past it.

It's damage that was unavoidable, so to me... it doesn't lessen the value of the piece any; not that any of us would ever sell our Pagulayan (or Lopresti, go Aaron!) Planet Hulk pages to begin with.

I'm sure you could scan the piece and ink it, to make the spots less visible, but honestly... they're a non-issue. Even with them, the pages still look fantastic.

Thanks all! Definitely shot up to one of my top 5 pieces.

I wonder if I can get Jeff Huet or Jason Paz to ink over this safely?

I didn't think of that but I may look into it just so I have something to hang up. The original will of course be safely tucked away in an underground safe...

I really can't stress it too much without coming off as being defensive (since I bought so many of these pages ) but it really isn't that bad in person. Because I darkened the jpeg file to accentuate the pencils, the brown spots were enhanced as well, along with the blue pencils. Some are definitely worse than others. But I guess it really comes down to the level of comfort a collector has. But to be honest, I can't say for certain whether I would've bought so many of these pages if they weren't from my favorite storyline from one of my favorite artists.
