Don't get me wrong, I understand how that pose could cause space issues for some (even me to a degree), but with respect, why collect 1/3 scale statues then? It's just an odd trade off to me to value size constraint over artistic selection/pose especially if their art team seemed to love that other dynamic pose as Kira stated.
Anyway, I guess nothing is set in stone yet so I'll wait and see how it all shakes out. I'm sure it will be great however they decide to go. Just prefered that action pose or something similar over a standing pose.

Tree log? yeah I must agree. Love the term tree log. I have so many tree logs now by ss but some are ok, but I am getting bored with my ss after seeing my awesome xm action poses. I see ss is copying xm now with the fully sculpted spidey. Looks great but lacking switch out parts, a more detailed base than the brown toasted bun.

Yes, initially Kira did post that and there were people being vocal about space constraints but still liked the pose overall (like myself). I feel there were just as many people that were vocal about being fine with a potentially large base. However, I think once P1 went back and considered the design again, they saw some truth in the concerns about space. Otherwise, I don't feel they would have compromised their original vision. I highly doubt a few regulars on this forum had the power to sway their artistic direction. I assume this feedback must have come from several other sources.
As far as why collect 1/3 statues? Because I enjoy the attention to detail and presence that P1 is bringing to some of my favorite characters in this line. However, I still have to keep in mind that I don't just collect this line and don't have unlimited space. So if it's possible for them to create a piece that requires only a reasonable footprint without compromising quality, that will be my preference.
I love dynamic poses as much as the next person and I'm not saying CW has to be standing there like a supermodel. There's many other dynamic poses they could go with that doesn't require a huge base. Hell, they could just narrow her stance from that poster a bit and that could be one reasonable solution.

Agree wholeheartedly with this.
And its always possible we may have more than one at some point, we have three batman statues coming to choose from.

exactly! the beauty is in the statue themselves. not the pose. especially in this series.

Our team do love dynamic pose but the constraint only doing 1/3 scale most of the DC line. We must consider the space issue for our customer to able them to collect a lot them together. Catwoman big concern will be the space and balance if she can match together with rest we may consider her more dynamic pose. We will keep you guys update about it. Please note we do have something very special for our DC 1/5 scale line will be base from comics and very dynamic pose

Strange how p1 was criticized for tree log pose with transformers series. Details and presence are guaranteed with p1, I just want p1 to improve with posing instead of printing exactly from 3D files given by game devs. Just my suggestion. Constructive criticism seems to be lax for batman series compared against transformers series. Must be Michael bay.

Whips for all Catwoman statues tend to be unposeable, heavy and bent permanently in ways that make posing the whip a pain in the arse in general so if you guys do create something with a whip in motion please do some engineering to the whip so that it's heavy duty enough to stay in place but be mallable to how we want to pose it.
