This is the issue.

The problem with waiting for XM's website PO is that it is usually too late to get the piece at cost or near cost. The A-listers sell out instantly. For the first time, XM's EU distributor is offering us non-Asians a chance to officially buy XM piece's before the mad rush. Unfortunately the prices are similar to what we pay through unofficial channels.

I think release dates (however inaccurate) can help to keep companies honest. PCS get bashed because we have a release date to judge them by. I think the moment you take deposits from a customer (be it website or convention) you owe them a date. Just my opinion.
Have you been burned by comic art commissions and this is where it's coming from? XM usually gives vague dates by quarter and year (ex. Q2 2017). And when they set the official date, they announce it on social media and their webpage.

I'm not sure what you expect of them. If you don't like it, then wait for the official word from XM. It's your only option. Nothing about XM screams a company who is taking your money and running. Now some of the third parties, yes, but not them.

While I would also prefer to see finished pieces prior to pre-order, my experience with XM so far has been that the final product has typically either met or exceeded my expectations so I feel comfortable taking what might be viewed as a risk by pre-ordering an as yet unseen finished product. This is my choice. However, it is one based on very positive experiences with having one so.

No. Haven't been burnt, but PCS have tested my patience (still love their work), just don't want to see XM go down the same road. It is going to take a gargantuan effort for XM to deliver what they are showing in a reasonable time frame. I hope they are successful.

They've actually ramped up production and expanded warehouse size. In other words, they are getting faster with same quality.

Here is an example:

January 2016 - October 2016 releases:

1) Black Bolt
2) Medusa
3) She-Hulk
4) Doctor Strange
5) Sandman
6) Thor (I think that was this year..hhmmm)
7) Kraven
8) Ghost Rider (start shipping in October according to Ben on video)
9) Mysterio (start shipping in October)
10) Daredevil
11) Iron Man Mk 7

That's not enough statues for you? Do you realize how much money that is? In July, I was bombarded with $3K of statues (She-Hulk, Doctor Strange, Medusa). All big boxes, all expensive. If 14 statues in a year for one license is not enough for you...whoooweeee!!!!

October 2016 - December 2016:

1) Ghost Rider
2) Mysterio
3) Elektra
4) Batman
5) Darkness (MAYBE)!!!

Btw.....I didn't include any of the 1/6 statues.

100% right Loricstone on all the statues released this year

I haven't received my She-Hulk or Kraven yet hopefully won't be too long

When I first started collecting XM I wanted them all

Now I still want them all but that's not gonna happen there's way too much coming out

Are you cutting back too or you still getting them all?

Let's see the dancing penguins

Well something is going on.

This Section of the forum (XM Studios) is off the hook with people posting in threads.

The Sideshow section is a ghost town, lol.

If that doesn't say something then your not paying attention.

STGCC 2016 was a massive success IMO.

Hype TRAIN!!!

Like now what is becoming my biggest problem is just the prices of statues in general. So guess what. I'm not going to buy as many.
