spoke with sideshow and they said it'll ship within the next 24-48 hrs!

I've been wanting to get one of these bad boys. Thank god I never pulled the trigger on the aftermarket. saved me some $$$

Mine arrived, unpacked set up, switch on...……

I got half a second of one light sabre then nothing

had a similar problem with Darth Vader and Predator legendary bust. Darth Maul is mains fed as opposed to batteries with the other two.

Raised it with Sideshow - will see what happens. thought I had struck lucky as DHL charged VAT at 5%.

Guess what gets given with one hand gets taken away with the other.

Sorry to hear that man but sideshow will make good on it! I got mine on thursday and it was perfect! such an amazing piece, I'm glad I was able to get it

the wonky light up is unfortunately quite common for this and some of the others. It may work fine today...but don't hold your breath for tomorrow. One of the reasons they no longer do light up on the new releases....and yet charge more, lol.

the funny thing is that the toys I bought for my son still work like a charm. vader light up like a champ.

I have had my GG Darth Vader for ten years and its works. My Darth Malgus stopped working about 4 years ago.. They should just not use these light ups anymore, they are cool but not fun when they don't work.

On the flip side...the statue's so cool that you don't really need the light-up feature.

Sideshow are sending out a replacement light sabre.

whilst It would hardly ever be displayed lit up, knowing it doesn't work would really annoy me so fair play to sideshow.

Agree though it is a great statue.

Got a great deal on this piece. Absolutely fantastic execution by Sideshow. Some of the best use of mixed media I've ever seen. Truly a "Premium Format". That can't always be said of a Sideshow piece.
