...than itching to sculpt all day, finally getting some time in the evening, and opening a fresh box of - rock hard super sculpey??
i just spent the better part of 3 hrs mixing 4oz of SS and 1oz of III! been looking so forward to starting this sculpt for 2 days now. got the armature all ready, sat down after the WCup game, unwrapped the sculpey III. nice and soft, beautiful. can't wait. opened the box of SS, ..hmmm, something not quite right here. peeled a layer off the top, it's all crumbly and hard. don't care, i want to sculpt. i try to knead the SS and it breaks apart into a million crumbs and flakes. sigh.. so i crumble it into bite size chunks and try to mash them up with my fingers. it's now 5am, i'm tired, my fingers hurt like hell and i've developed a blister on my thumb from trying to knead the clay and i still haven't mixed all the grey in completely!
tomorrow, i'm going and getting a bloody pasta machine!
sorry for the rant. there was no one in chat and i needed to vent a little. if only i had pics of Tommy in jello to cheer me up.
