John, I know Meningitis can be beaten i am a survivor. I had spinal meningitis in the 6th grade. it left me weak and thin for a while. I had not last complications. then boys are in my thoughts along with your niece. wishing them all a quick recovery

meningitis is esp prevalent among college students but it should be well treatable

There's been some improvement with the 3yr old, but some other issues have come up.
